Hi. I am likely one of the most erratic members here, so don't be offended by anything that I say.

Welcome.

I'm Watoad! And . . . I don't post as much nearly as much as Chupperson does!

I declare, whether or not it's true, that I have enough posts under my belt to have earned the status to say what the other guys said: Welcome!

Well, jumping on the proverbial bandwagon, i too am new here...not to the message board world, but i'm a newborn in the universe of TMK. Just found the site two days ago while nicely arguing with my boyfriend that Mario 2 was a DokiDoki Panic spinoff. Thanks to the glorious TMK, i won that battle...ho ho.

So, let's see...i'm a relatively nice girl (no cooties, don't worry) named Whitney. I'm going to be 17 in May, thus making me a baby. Mario Bros 3 owns my soul. I still have never actually beaten the first two Mario games, but since i'm home sick with the flu today, perhaps now would be a nice time to give it the old college try, no?

From lurking, i've gathered that you guys seem a lot nicer than some of the people on the other boards i visit, and i look forward to becoming friends with you :)

Yes, Welcome, both WhitneyM and jokestr2003.
I tend to be offensive in the things I write as well, however, not so much as I used to. I try to watch what I say, so I don't think there will be a problem.

I hope you both enjoy posting here, and overcome any illnesses you may have soon. :P

*holding a Newbie-Shield up*.. I'm New too... TMK is really the best Mario site in the web. An insight in my person...  Mario was/is/will be an important point in my life and.. I'm german.

If Mario was born in Germany... he would love Döner more than Pasta.

Looks like we're bringing in a bunch of new members. Welcome, all of you. Most of the posting happens in General Mario Chat, so that's where things usually are.

Actually, Whitney, most of us are younger than you, I think... *sheepish grin*

Actually, Blacky, i'm typically little miss acid tongue myself...censoring one's self is tough. Then again, on such a nice forum like TMK's, i like to think of it as drinking a big glass of orange juice after brushing your teeth. As bitter as it may taste, that vitamin C and fluoride is good for us, right? Ten bucks to you if you followed that at all.

As for YOU, Chupperson...respect your elder :)

Censorship of yourself, while difficult, in a place like this, is good. (Ugh, Commas ><;)

 I couldn't agree more. Infact, that'd be why many people do censor themselves. Well anyway, I really don't think it'll be too bad, as many of the people who, well, conflicted with myself don't really come here anymore. But, that's besides the point. ^^;

Oh, and there are a few of us here 16 years old and up, but I'd say the majority of the memebers are 10-14 around here. Maybe not so much in General Chat, but in the other areas of the board.

Really? Wow, for some reason i thought the age demographic would be a tad bit higher...then again, the GameCube has a fan club all its own, i don't know why i thought there'd be a lot of NES old-timers around.

I'm trying to cut down on the posting I do here (because it eats so much time) but, if it helps, I'm 18. Also, I grew up on the NES.

Are the users of General Chat and General Mario Chat really that divided? I post in both all the time . . .

I guess I'm the little child here. I turned 16 only last December.

Anyways, I also have a VERY hard time controlling things I say or post. In fact, the odds of me posting something offensive are directly proportional to the amount of time I've been awake. (I.E., I'm more likely to do something offensive at 11:30 PM than at 7:30 PM.)

Come to think of it, if you state your opinion and seem to favor the negative side of something, it'll offend. If you state it too strongly, it'll offend. I do both.

I also tend to defend my views very aggressively. To see a good example, go the post labelled "If you could kill a character from the..." on General Mario chat and go to the 5th page. You'll see a rather long post about .... well, me in general. It shows why I think the way I do.

That, And I beat Yoshi's Island with my feet. Just thought I should share that with you.

Welcome to all the new members!

Hmm, Steve, that would make you just a little younger than me, if your birthday is past the 3rd.

I remember when I first started posting here, I thought everyone else would be way older than me. I was rather surprised to realize that they were about as old as me.
The only guy who's really older than all the rest of us is Luigison.

A girl I know *eyes turn into hearts* who turned 17 recently is an "NES old-timer"... she just doesn't have any time or she'd probably be here too.
