Words? As in, things like "rouleau", "abstruse", or "obstreperous"? Not in the games, but there are SEVERAL words most players wouldn't know in some of the offical Nintendo Player's Guides... especially my SMRPG guide. In one mere passage I counted about 6 words that the average 6th grader would not know (And about 50 throughout the whole guide).

The games are relatively easy to comprehend.

If you meant hard "worlds", A few I can think of are 4-4 of SMB2J, Extra 5 of YI, Those Battleships in SMB3, Tubular in SMW, the 4th star in Tick Tock Clock in SM64 (I am the only person I know that could ever get that one) and there are more that I know of... those are the ones that shot straight to the top of my head though.

Everyone has their own opinions, no matter how WRONG they are.

Funny, I've had about 5 people at my old school ask me if I could get that star for them. I really was the only person there that could get it. Maybe everyone at my school sucked at SM64?

Likewise, I think that the boss of 5-4 in YI (Sluggy the Unshaven... in the US version, anyways) is easy (Likewise for the other 11 bosses.). I mean, I beat it (And the other 11) with my feet...

And Rainbow Road isn't THAT hard for me ... my best (US time) time is 1:48 something.  And I ALWAYS use Yoshi in MK and MK64 (Not MK: SC. I'll use Toad. But, the MK: SC Rainbow Road is my favorite of the 3.)

The only person I've ever seen complain about how easy Tubular was and how everyone else thought it was hard is CashCrazed. It's without a doubt the hardest SMW level for me.

Actually, I'll list the hardest levels of all the major Mario games I can think of:

SMB1: 8-2. I hate this level.
SMB2: Either 7-2 or 5-3.
SMB3: Those battleships... or if you ant a numbered level... 6-6 always gave me problems.
SMB2J (Lost Levels): 4-4. Even today, I have a needlessly hard time with it.
SMW: Tubular
SMW2: Extra 5
SMRPG (Hardest fight): Definatly the one against the giant wedding cake in Marrymore.
SM64: The hard star for me (And one that took a great deal of practice) was "Wing Mario Over the Rainbow"... another one that I was the only person able to get at my school.

MK (SNES): I always hated Donut Plains 2. Don't ask why; it's not that hard.
MK64: I am awful at Banshee Boardwalk. Flat out horrible.
MK: SC: Hmmmmm... None of the levels gave me TOO many problems... although driving Rainbow Road with Toad is NOT easy with 7 other heavier drivers...
Mario Golf (N64): Hole 6 of Mario's Star. Ugh... about the only hole I'm happy with Par on. (It's the Par 3 with Lakitu.)
Mario Golf (GBC): The 4th hole of the last course (Peach's Castle? I think that's it's name) ... It has a green on a slope, and I could NEVER hit it there. (Par 4)

I'll even do 2 puzzle games I remember:

Yoshi's Cookie: 9-5 of Puzzle mode. The only level of ANY kind I have ever written for help on to Nintendo Power (I actually got a reply)
Tetris Attack: 6-4, 2nd set. (Although last time, I had a hard time with 6-8 and NOT 6-4...)

And that's about it.

Everyone has their own opinions, no matter how WRONG they are.

Rainbow Road in MK: SC rocks. That has to be the coolest level. And Ribbon Road. That one has an awesome shortcut.

Hmm... hard levels for me...
SMB: 8-2, 8-3, 8-4. Arrgh!
SMB2: 5-3, I think, 8-1, 8-2.
SMB2j: Whoo-ee.
SMB3: Everything past the hands in World 8.
SMW: Tubular. That's all.
YI: Too many.
SM64: Rematch With Koopa the Quick, Wing Mario Over the Rainbow, The Big House in the Sky.
SMS: Feh. The play control was better... so the game is easier. I have every Shine you can get by going somewhere.

I write poetry when I`m not looking.
That was a joke.

No! Not talking about hard levels.

I want talk about Dictionary of the hard words.

In Mario Sunshine, there is a lot of Dictionary about the hard words. I already write it down the word means.

Well, then... I, actually, can't think of one word in Super Mario Sunshine that I thought was hard to understand or difficult to read.

That was a joke.

Hmm.. hard to understand was Luigi's Mainsion on Italiano^^... but it's easy if you can speak latin.

>[Off Topic] Funny words are the German names of the I. Gidd inventions:
Schreckweg 08/16 (LM) Dreckweg 08/17 (SMS) Deppweg 08/18 (MP4) *g*

Because the spelling is the same:

the spelling of 'e' in english is the same spelling of 'i' in german.

[oh i found a bug in sma2: the cookie mountain.(The german Word must be: Keks-Berg like in the snes version, but in the gba version it is called Cookie-Berg]

The hardest for me?  Well some levels are harder than others, although I can beat them if I keep at it.  Although some got easier as I got older, but here are the hardest levels in each game:

SMB: Hmmm.  Probably 8-2.
SMB2: 7-1 was annoying.
SMB3: 6-5, that one's difficult even today
SMW: Tubular.  But I have a good trick for it.
SMW2: Extra 5, without a doubt (the only level that I haven't got 100 on yet)
SM64: Wing Mario Over the Rainbow.  It's not exactly hard hard, but it's long, and annoying.
SMS: Cleaning Sirena Beach.  God that took me a while! And I was cursing.  Also the ferris wheel one is tough.
SML: 3-2 was pretty tough
SML2: The mushroom extra in Pumpkin Zone
WL4: Fiery Caverns...I hated that one!
SMK: Vanilla Lake 2.
MK64: I too am horrible at Banshee Boardwalk, but somehow gain the advantage at the end.
MKSC: Hmmm...The hardest is probably Lakeside Park (the one in Special) cause of sharp turns.
MP4: The hardest mini-game for me would probably be Fruits of Doom.
SMB2j: 4-4 is tough, but so is 8-3!
GBDK: I forget which one, but it's in Rocky Hill.
SMRPG: Hardest battle?  Bundt caused problems.
PM: Hmmm.  The Big Lantern Ghost I guess.
TA: Hardest Bowser, of course.
YSa: The Big Boo was fairly hard...it took me a few tries to shoot him down.
YSt: The Bone Dragon pit was fairly tough.

That's all I can think of right now.

Well, this appears to have turned into a discussion of hard wor"l"ds.

Anyways, I forgot a few.

SML: 3-1. It soooooo long...
SML2: That One level in the Space Zone where you have to avoid those stars. The boss fight is hard, as is the level.
SML3: Level no. 20. That level in Stone Canyon where that wall of lava goes across the screen. Ugh...
PM: Hard fight *snickers* ... *uncontrollable laughing* Hard... HA!

...

Kent C. Koopa. (Before I figured out the trick)

MP1: Slot Car Derby. (I'm really good at the other ones. Even the Bumperball Mazes.)
MP2: Sneak 'N' Snore or Abandon Ship. (Though the winner of the latter is randomly determined before the game even starts, all that player must do is get to the top to win. I have determined this by playing it, and watching the true winner (Me 90% of the time) stall right at the top for no reason, while the 3rd or 4th to the top wins.)
MP3: Game Guy's Crappy Boxes! I think I'm about 1 for 15 there. (On a 1 in 2 chance)
TA (Vs.) - Naval Pirahna, Hardest. Bowser is too dumb! I'll explain later.
YSt: Forgot about this one, like always... 4-2! That one with that huge fish! I don't think I've ever beaten it yet! I kept getting eaten and I eventually got sick of it because 4-1 was so much more fun! Hmmmm...

And a few comments:

Extra 5. Yep, the way you get a 100 here... unfortunatly, all you can do is try to memorize the level as best as you can.

I'm certain I know the trick you were referring to on Tubular. It is the only way I can beat that level (Well, I CAN do it the real way... but it's HARD!)

I must be the only one here that never had a hard time with 6-5 of SMB3. I mean, It's probably why I have a hard time with 6-6... I only ply 6-5 because it's easier for me, and there's the Mushroom House, too.

Anyways, Why N. P. is harder for me than Bowser in TA... This is Bowser's screen after his opening chain:

Need I say more?

8-3 of SMB2J is a hard level... but I just CANNOT beat 4-4! I don't get it! It isn't that hard a layout (Compared to a few others) But I can't do it! It's really annoying!

Ah well... amazing how similar the lists are...
