At the end of SMW levels there's a goal post. At the end of SMB levels there's flag.  What's at the end of SMB2 and SMB3 levels?

SMB 2 has a hawk face. SMB 3 has the card box.

Sorry, I meant at the end of the worlds.  Are their different bosses, etc.

In SMB3, the bosses at the end of the worlds are Bowser's Koopa kids.

There are bosses at the end of almost every SMB2 level. So there are different bosses at the end of worlds, too.

Eccentricity is my goal.
That was a joke.

There's a world nine in SMB3? I knew it! How do you get there?

No no no. Listen up guys. There is a World 9 in Super Mario Bros. 3 but World 9 is simply the Warp Zone. It is simply a small island with spaces you go to that warp you to different worlds. There is no boss, and it doesn't have any actual stages. As for getting there, you use a warp whistle. This takes you there. Warp whistles are very well hidden and there's only 3 in the game.
