Y'know,Nintendo is the best because they concentrate on WHAT they do.And that is GAMES.Microsoft and espicially crappy Sony put add-ons to their stuff for no reason.If it's a game system,why not just make games?Sony makes electronics,they have no excuse for putting DVD and CD player on the worst system ever created[Even worse than Virtual Boy!]PS2.Accesories are different from DVD and all that other junk.Accesories focus on GAMES.

By the by, I do believe Killa of PS2 has a perfect point.
I mean, what are video game consoles anyway if we all have computers to play games on as well...
Consoles are not home-computers! They're specialised machines created for just games and only games...

I agree. If you want to play DVD's, buy a DVD player! I mean, who gives a f--- if a video game console plays DVD's or computer games? That doesn't make it "Wow! They're so high-tech and useful!"; it isn't the system itself that everyone wants, they want it because of the games that it can support. People buy consoles for their entertain value, not because of all the crap people install in it.

What do you mean I go mad when I post?Hey,you know what?The new pictures that Trainman posted about the new Nintendo system,well the first one[the Playstation-ish one]looks like it'll carry CD's that are as big as DVD's.If they are,I know that Nintendo won't be like Sony and put stupid add-ons.[DVD player in the system]I mean,why waste time?If the system is done THEN you add the DVD and CD player stuff,you'll keep everyone waiting.What's the point in doing that?The DVD and CD players aren't really even accesories.Nintendo makes accesories that are actually BETTER than that dumb un--needed junk.

Anyway, it's common knowledge that often, game store managers will recommend PS2/Xbox over GCN due to the fact that GCN doesn't have a DVD/CD player. Also, I know several people who bought a PS2 soley for the DVD player and about two games. It may be gimmicky for Nintendo fans, but admit it. If GCN had a DVD player, and PS2/Xbox didn't, you'd list the DVD player as a reason why GCN is the best system.

No I would'nt!I own a crappy PS2.I don't even play my DVD's on it.That's because I have a DVD PLAYER.That's the point.There's no reason to put stuff like that on systems.They might as well turn PS2 and Xbox into CD player's and DVD only and make CD players and DVD players game systems.

A) Don't lie. I know you would.
B) Why don't you just sell your PS2?
C) If didn't have a DVD player, and wanted some video games, you would probably get a PS2, and not GCN.

I actually think it's cool that the PS2 has a dvd player. KOPS2 is right in that it is a gimmick to get people to buy it, but it's cheaper to buy a ps2, than a gamecube and a dvd player.
And you really should give it more credit as a system. There ARE a lot of really good games for it.

By the way, does anyone know if xbox plays cd's?

Actually, Xbox has more good games than you think. You just don't know about them, cause you are Nintendo fanboys/girls. I don't have a problem with that or anything, of coarse. After all, there are Xbox fans out there who think GCN has no good titles. Personally, I am not races in game wise or human wise (I have a thing for Japanese women). Thats okay if you guys are (in game wise, of coarse). Just don't make something like the GGG (Guilty Gamecube Game). Purple & Black Power! Ha ha! Just kidding. But still. I don't really care if one hates another system. I'm not trying to get you to like Xbox, of coarse. Hate it as much as you want, I don't care. Now if someone over here was saying crap like "Gaycube sucks", then I would be mad for 2 reasons:

1.This is a Nintendo/Mario website. Duh!
2.Gamecube is my favorite system.

I think it is alright to state your own opinion as long as it does not invalve hatred against another member (or any person from Nintendo).

Look The Big Boo,I hate PS2 because their games are adsolute rip-offs.Contra,Fantavision,Madden I can go on and on.All those games are cheap and are unbeatable.I can't sell the stupid system because my dad would get mad because he spent over like 400$ on all the crap I got for it on Christmas.Don't say that I can't beat those games because I'm not good enough.I have played for 7 years.I've got enough expierence to beat any game on the planet[not unless they're unbeatable like Contra Shattered Solider] And my answer to letter C,I wouldn't get a PS2 if it were on my life!GameCube has way more quality games AND it's been out shorter!Besides,I only have one DVD anyway.
