みなと (minato) means port, or harbor. Makes sense.

One more thing: The end of the note says ピーチより, which actually means "From Peach," and not "From Princess Peach."

I've been zoned out today.  Yes, I did forget to note the ki at the end of the town name, and yes, I thought it said pi-chi hime, not simply pi-chi.  I'm fluent.  I shouldn't be making these mistakes.

(I write in ro-maji for the simple reason that the Japanese I'm typing isn't showing up on the forum)

Let me try this again:

"If you collect the 7 Star Stones, the '1000-Year Door', which leads to the treasure, will be opened."

I read the name of the town "kurutski"

"elmo knows where you live"
"elmo knows where you live"

ƒSƒƒcƒL=Gorotsuki

ƒNƒ‹ƒcƒL=Kurutsuki

Similar, but not quite.  Also, Kurutski wouldn't work anyways, because the Japanese language will automatically add a u between ts and k.

Nameneko, you need to use Unicode numbers for Japanese, I believe.

It''s hard to make up your mind when you don’t have one.
That was a joke.

Chupperson is correct. I'll provide more info later. Right now I . . . you can guess.

I don't know, but the map seems like an extension for the original. Although, it seems obvious that the cartographer of this map does not know the cartographer of the original map.

Thanks for the info, both CW and Watoad.  However, I got the characters to work, all by myself.  No, actually, I cheated.  I pasted the characters onto Microsoft Frontpage and copied the HTML. :P

I just type whatever Japanese I know and it usually works...

I type in Japanese the same way Watoad does.

Edit: Let's see...

Nope....I have to type in an actual code for it to show up....

Hey guys, I got some good news. I think I found their names of characters for party members in Paper Mario 2, but just 3 them.

Now, the first party member is "Goombella" She's a smart-mouthed girl Goomba with ambitions to become an archaeologist, but not typo.

The second party member name is "Koops" he's an insecure young koopa and he's on a quest to find his lost father.

And the last party member name is "Flurrie" She's a Jeannie with some abilities that come into by in area. But actually she's not a boo, she's just a Jeannie.

I'm glad Goombella doesn't want to be a typo.

This is a secret coded message.

IGNore what those IGNoramuses they say about it being released "under its Japanese name of Paper Mario RPG 2". (It's the first "Paper Mario RPG" in Japan; the first one was "Mario Story". Besides, any idiot can see there is no "2" on the title screen.)
