CE7 won the battle but I won the war.

With an avatar-less forum theme, everybody loses.

Also this.

Who honestly cares about avatars? The lack of them is a good thing because if you're anything like me, you produce hundreds of them and either never use them or switch them every other week or so. It's very draining on your person to worry about such a feature.

I care about avatars. They add personality beyond a bare-text username and a Custom Title. Besides, it's fun to read a person's posts in his avatar's voice in your head.

I have no voice and you will scream

I frequent 4chan. Personality means nothing to me.

If only moot felt the same way.

(seriously, the fact that there is now a board for socializing outside those boards disgusts me. Do those people have no shame?)

PaperLuigi · « **Reply #11437 on:** February 02, 2011, 11:00:10 AM »

/soc/ is pure cancer. It completely undermines the purpose of an anonymous board.

Weegee · « **Reply #11438 on:** February 02, 2011, 03:12:43 PM »

moot created /soc/ in hopes of purging /b/ of cancer, but it doesn't seem to have worked. I still haven't forgiven him for killing /r9k/.

Mr. Wiggles · « **Reply #11439 on:** February 02, 2011, 08:27:30 PM »

What? Getting rid of that board was a good thing, the only thing it provided was a platform for losers to cry about their girlfriends or lack of them.

Weegee · « **Reply #11440 on:** February 02, 2011, 10:23:01 PM »

The greentext stories on that board ranked among the most entertaining content on 4chan.

On the other hand, thank God /new/ is finally gone.

PaperLuigi · « **Reply #11441 on:** February 02, 2011, 11:12:33 PM »

I hate /r9k/. Hipster cesspool.

Weegee · « **Reply #11442 on:** February 02, 2011, 11:37:42 PM »

Surely you're mistaken, my good man! If your definition of "hipsters" is the same as mine (Starbucks-drinking, downtown-living, Mac-using, Converse-wearing slaves to counterculture), the gentlemen of /r9k/ are as far from hipsterdom as one can get.

Blaherhahahegheghaha. Hipsters posting on 4chan? WTD does PL think a hipster is?

Hipsters posting on 4chan?

Trust me, they're there. Surf /mu/ for a little bit. Or /soc/.
