Here, I want you guys to describe the best day of your life (as stated in the topic title). It will be fun and it will make you feel good writing about it.

For me, the best day of my life was this past year's homecoming dance. I went alone and was afraid to ask anyone to slow dance (I didn't care to much about the fast dancing). For the first such dance, I stood off to the side, and my best friend asked if I wanted to dance with her since her date didn't show. So I did, and that gave me the confidence to ask others. For the next one, I asked the prettiest girl in the school to dance and she did! Someone even took our picture and said we made a cute couple (I still need to get a copy of that picture). Finally, there was one girl who never danced, and she was the one that I wanted to dance with since the beginning. So, towards the end, she was getting her coat and about to leave, so I stopped her, introduced myself, and told her that I had made a promise to myself that by the end of the night, I was going to dance with her. So she accepted, and we danced the last dance of the night together.

Well, the fact is the best day of my life.... Hasn't really happened yet. I hope it happens sometime soon.

A good day was when I finally learned that some girls actually liked me. I wasn't one of the coolest kids in Grade school, but when I got to High School, my populatity increased, and people who hadn't talked to me before did. (I guess I got better looking too!!)Now I'm getting really popular `n stuff.  That kinda wasn't a "day" but a good period of time.

Ohhh, another Day that was cool is when I got my report card in 7th grade, and had straight A+'s. That gave me the confidance to Never get lower than an A for the past 4 years!!! That was a sweet day.....

The best day of my life must have been last month, on the final day of the band trip I went on...

After we competed in the Band competition the day before, they had taken us to Busch Gardens (In Williamsburg). I went with my friends, on 3 rollercoasters (Lochness Monster, Apollo's Chariot, and Alpengeist, and two water rides (Roman Rapids, Escape from Pompeii). Anyway, during all the crazyness of the rides, we rested for awhile (I slept at a table in the German area of the park close to where our teachers were), and after all the rides, I had a callus on my foot, and a scratch on my right leg, making it very difficult to walk long distances. It kinda looked like I soiled myself, according to one of the trumpet players I know.

After we got on the bus to go home, this true jerk (I had to room with him, ugh) started annoying everyone on the bus. So, everyone (And I mean everyone) started insulting him. One guy claimed that he would like to shoot him, and everyone laughed. Everything died down for awhile, and people started to try to sleep. He then started to annoy some people. Then, I said "John.."
He replied with "What do you want?" and practically everyone on the bus said "SHUT UP!" to him. Actually, they said worse, so I cleaned it up for this post.

Oh, how great it was...

I really can't say what the best day of my life, was. There's way too many to keep track of.
But a really great day was when I signed up on Fungi Forums.
I have a feeling that the greatest day of my life will be when I get married.

If I had to pick one of the last 5,104 days of my life as the best day ever... I wouldn't have just one.

Wow, I couldn't think of a really great day in my life.  I do remember one from when I was about six or seven though...

This is from when I lived in my old neighborhood.  So there's me, my brother, and three of our friends: Jesse, TK, and Peter.  Oldest to youngest would be my brother, Peter, TK, Jesse, and me.  Anyway, we all got together and went to Peter's house at the end of the street.  We went into his backyard.  There was a big gap in his fence, so we went through it to the creek that ran behind all the houses on our side of the street(so if you looked over my backyard fence, you'd see the creek and a fence on the other side).  The creek ran through a long tunnel where it went under the street and stuff, and above it was a bridge with a fence blocking the creek area we were in from the other side.  There was a gap in that fence, so we went through it and ended up in a big car lot, where they sell new cars.  We went across the lot to the side walk, and started walking down the street for a while, until we got to... GOLF LAND!  We didn't buy an eighteen hole game or anything, we just walked around and looked for golf balls in the bushes, and we found a ton.  We rolled them on the courses and stuff, lost a few, and brought the rest back home for "later use".  That was probably the best day of my life.  Especially since none of the other guys were mean to me because I was the youngest.  But it was fun anyway.

I personally don't believe in best days of your life. The way I see it, you live your life, and you have days you were happy that you experienced, and days you were sad that you experienced. If you say that you have had a best day of your life, you set your standards too high for living, and you begin to expect better days. That would, in the end, make life a much sadder experience.

That was pretty sweet and romantic, I have to say.

Days that I really, really, used to get excited about and love were when I was quite young and my parents once in a while let me rent a console and a few games. Heh, we'd wait outside until the movie store opened and take them back at the last minute and I played every second of that time except a very few hours at night. Those were the days that popped into my head when I tried to think of the "best" days I've ever had. And I had almost forgotten about them too.

A few other things came to mind, but maybe later.

The best day of my life was when my wife and I found out she was pregnant.  We had been trying for about a decade.  The worst day was when we found out that the baby had died.  It's been and will be a real roller coaster of a few weeks around here.  Good, schools out and summers here.  Bad, lost out on $200 since I could not go to some training I needed.  Good, my brother will be visiting in a few weeks.  Bad, my wife will not be able to do much because of the pregnancy and possible miscarriage and/or surgery.  Good, we will fly home to visit family for several days.  Bad, no baby shower.  Good, we will try to get pregnant again.  Best, if/when we have a baby.

Sorry to bring this thread down.  Somebody post the best day of your life to cheer me and everybody else up.

"they had taken us to Busch Gardens (In Williamsburg)."
Go to Cedar Point (In Sandusky, OH) It is the best Roller Coaster park in the world. I don't just say that, it's been voted that year after year, or at maybe it was greatest park in the USA. I'm not sure who was voting though.

I'm sorry too, Luigison.

So far, the best days of my life are all the times Charlie would tell me that I was beautiful and that he loved me......but I guess that doesn't matter now since we broke up. Also last year when we went to Kokomo, Indiana to visit our family and everybody spoiled us. Almost every day we would get taken out to eat and to shop, Plus it was cool to see all my cousins grown up so much.

In the future, the best days will probably be when I'm proposed to, my wedding day, when I have children and when they get married! :)

"Ooh I wanna take you down to Kokomo"
Although I'm pretty sure they meant the island.

Some great days I've had mostly consist of spending time with my friends. My birthday this year was a fun one, where I spent the afternoon staying at school for our play rehearsal. Some of my friends brought in cupcakes, my best friend forgot to wish me Happy Birthday and spent the rest of the day making up for it, and the most beautiful girl in school even gave me a hug.
