Post here to talk about the SSBM Camera Mode snapshots that you've taken. I will talk about mine later. (You can also post screenshots of them, but I am unable to do that with the equipment I have.)

It's very simple. Just plug a controller into Socket 4 to control the camera with. Follow the on-screen instructions to control it. It's good if you can get someone else to control it for you. You should try to take pictures while the game is paused, to make sure you get good ones. (You can control the camera while the action is paused.) It's possible to get really funny pics, as well as cool and interesting ones. I have a bunch of funny ones myself, and I'll talk about them in this topic sometime when I have the time.

If you only have 1 controller, you can set up a fight with 2 or 3 cpu characters. Just remember that it will be hard to take the picture you want

I usually take my best pictures when I am fighting 2 computer players. I just pause when something cool happens. Maybe I'll purchase the necessary equipment and submit my pictures to the SSBM   photo album.

The pics I've submitted.

I can see MEGAߥTE likes the green hat Pikachu.

These are some great pics. I should dust off the ol' SSBM and try my hand at a few.

My primary character is Pikachu, yes.  Those pics were all taken in the same session, so that's why they all have him wearing the green hat; I don't have any preference towards his hats.

Wow, I've never known anyone whose primary character is Pikachu. Until now, I guess.

I always found these
funny, but that's just me. Oh, and the captions help make it funnier, so
if you can't read it, then, well, it might not be so great, but they're still
good quality snapshots.

I wish I had a way of taking screenshots (and no, using a digital camera and taking a shot of the TV screen does NOT count...ugh).

I had some cool pics I'd taken in camera mode way back when, but unfortunately, my brother made me erase them so there'd be room on the Memory Card. ;_; (Back then, we only had one Card, and it was the smallest one.)

Dust it off, eh, Red? Now I KNOW you've played it within the past month. I saw'd it with my own eyes, I done did. :P

I didn't know there was a place on the TMK site for snapshots. Some of those were funny! But I can't get my snapshots onto the computer, as I said, so as soon as I can I'll talk about mine here.

My favs so far are LD's Bad Link and Surgery.

The digital video camera that was stolen from our house last year was great for making screenshots.  I could split the GCN video out to my TV and camera, and then take snapshots or records video to make snapshots later.  My new DVD digital camcorder will not make snapshots from video input.  So much for it being the newest and best Sony DVD cam.   Although I didn't like my old camera's use of tapes, the new one doesn't have the memory stick slot (and image from vid function) that I loved on the old one.  I am starting to repeat myself and should be talking about SSBM, so I will stop now.

Edit: Sometimes I think I'm LD, but most times I know I'm just plane dumb as dirt.

Well, I tried it today. Unfortunately, I can't get them online. However, I must say, it's difficult. I came out with one decent one. It has Dr. Mario "healing" Ness like a faith healer.

OK, here's the descriptions of my snapshots, finally. You all can use my ideas to make your own if you wish.

Super DUPER Mario: An enormous Mario (giant and taunting) next to a house in Onett.

Goomba: A Goomba in Yoshi's Island.

Wobbuffet with Clown Hair: A close-up of part of a Wobbuffet's face. The Wobbuffet has blue "clown hair" that is really Falco interfering graphically with the Wobbuffet.

Fish-headed Falco: Falco with a Goldeen for a head (this is a very funny one).

Klap Trap: A Klap Trap in Jungle Japes.

Flying Fox: Fox looks like he's soaring free through the sky in this pic.

Mario Attacking Turtle: Mario raises a Hammer to strike the giant turtle in Great Bay on the head.

Diving Snorlax: An underwater picture of a Snorlax in Great Bay.

Submerged Snorlax: A Snorlax submerged up to his ears in the Fountain of Dreams, with a Bellossom sitting on his head.

Ganondorf the Evil Statue of Liberty: A close-up of Ganondorf raising his arm in a way that brings to mind the Statue of Liberty; he has a funny-looking evil smile on his face. The background shows F-Zero stuff, and for no apparent reason there is an upside-down Capsule in midair behind Ganondorf.

Blastoise the Parrot: A hilarious picture of a Blastoise "perched" on Ganondorf's shoulder. Ganondorf is his normal size.

Ganondorf the Fiery Fiend: Ganondorf glares evilly through a haze of fire. (The fiery haze was actually an exploding Electrode; Ganondorf had just died, so he was unharmed by it.)

Venusaur the Tank: An overhead shot of a Venusaur with a "tank cannon" made out of a Capsule on the top of it.

DK Takes a Ride: DK is riding on a Banzai Bill, and looks like he's having a blast!

DK the Bully (2 shots): A huge DK bullying Ness. In the first shot he is getting ready for a punch, and in the second he is punching him a long way.

Head Step: Mario stands on Dr. Mario's head with one foot.

Kirby with Giant Hammer: Tiny Kirby with C. Falcon's helmet, holding a normal-sized Kirby hammer (not the kind you pick up, but the kind that Kirby uses with > + B).

Ganondorf the Circus Man: This is one of the most amusing pics. Giant Ganondorf is floating above the audience in Pokemon Stadium with a tiny (compared to him), red-and-white Parasol. This was the first snapshot idea that I got.

Mario on Warpstar (2 different shots): Mario rides a Warpstar in Green Greens.

That's all I have for now. I will probably add more, and possibly erase some of the above-mentioned pics that are of lesser quality. As I said, you are free to make similar ones yourselves.

EDIT: "Ganondorf the Fiery Fiend" inserted.
