What do I do?  Hmmm...not a whole lot.  My teachers mostly give us notes, and I write them down.  Except for my ELA class, which I do very little but make fun of my teacher, who is dumber than a sack of hammers.

My favorite class would be earth science.  Its a very small class, which is good, and I have a bunch of friends, so thats pretty good.  Incidentally, I'm going with two other friends to the NYS Envirothon, this Thursday.  Wish us luck!

Me and my friends invented a new version of the game Pickle. Now you run between the entire baseball field instead of just 2 bases, and there are 2 tennis balls flying around.
I'm probably the only 7th grader here, am I not?

Speaking of school, I'm doing some reading right now for my government and politics of Japan class, and I just came across this:

"Fifth, how are these elites selected? Are they selected upon some objective measure of merit, talent, and integrity? Or are they selected through 'an old-boy network' and family background?"

So what do you think, Fifth?

I don't think it's fair to make a binary choice here.  I think that, for the most part, they'd like to give the impression that the elites are picked for their worth and, for the most part, they try hold towards the ideal of meritocracy, but unfortanitely meritocracy is exactly that: an ideal.  Family background is always a part of the decision; I don't think its possible to avoid it.  But at the same time, its impossible condemn the process simply for that; family background has had a long-standing connection with honor and reverence, and is not without its significance both with the selected individual and the way that individual is recieved by the public.

...um, yeah...

Anyway, as far as school goes, I'm done.
Graduated last saturday, had my last final monday (it's a weird system, okay?)
I'm now officially unemployed.

I dislike school, even though I stayed on for the 5th & 6th years.. because I didn't know what I wanted to do (and I still don't)

I loved art since forever, and art teachers are kinda cool (did I just say that my teacher was cool??) But I dont like being told how to draw or make a picture, 'cause I believe that all my artwork is personal, and in a way special to me (even if it's just a crappy doodle on a notebook) I love art & you should never underestimate your own creative ablity..

I like photography too, ever since i got a digi cam for xmas & started taking silly picture, I made an online photo album, I am taking photography & am considering doing it at college when I leave school..

I think I only got 2 weeks of school then exams :(
So I left it a bit late for applying to college.. ah well *shrugs*
