Karma, Lizard Dude, karma... except Deezer should have made that title.

My dreams are only lucid if I already woke up and it's still dark out but getting closer to sunrise, because by then I'm awake enough to think clearly, but still tired enough to fall asleep thinking about what I want to dream about.  That's why most of the dreams I have before I wake up are more closely related to my daydreams.  If I'm not dreaming lucidly, it's usually about some surreal happenings that almost always include someone looking at me funny.  As if I don't get enough of that during the day...

If your day is bad, a nice comment at night can change everything.

Lucid dreaming always occurs to me near the end of dreams. But that's one out of every 30 dreams. And I don't think I've consciously even had 120 dreams in my lifetime.

Perhaps less... From the top of my head, I can remember around 30 different dreams.

I sometimes am enabled to lucid dream. When I realize I am in a dream, I struggle to stay asleep- I sometimes don't know if I'm still dreaming, or have awoken and imagining the rest of the dream.

After that nasty spider bite, I've been able to have lucid dreams. I usually don't change much, though.

Lucid dreaming is the ability to realize that you are asleep and dreaming. If you realize you are dreaming, you have the advantage to modify the dreamscape (or the dream sequence) to your liking.

EDIT: Markio's description is better.

Lucid Dreaming is where you're asleep and dreaming, but you realize that you're dreaming while you're in your dream and you can basically make whatever you want to happen in your dream happen ...in your dream.

If your day is bad, a nice comment at night can change everything.

Cool! Yes, that happened to me once. I made my dad give me $500 and I went and got lots of Nintendo stuff. Then my stupid alarm went off, and I didn't have my stuff anymore. Since then I haven't been able to do it.

I guess if this were about me it would be titled "the other LD".

Anyway, I also on occasion have a lucid dream when I'm nearly awake but not enoguht o stop dreaming. One time I dreamt I was getting a new DVD and consiously I wanted to be a domestic Sailor Moon Stars DVD which it was. Then I woke up before I could press play on the DVD player...

You know what's strange? Before we go to sleep, we don't want to. Then before we wake up, we don't want to!!!

I don't know if this counts, but sometimes I have dreams where I can make myself do whatever, but not anyone else and I don't realize I'm dreaming... Like my dream about the zombies infesting the school. I whacked the zombie teachers with an exceptionally large stick.
