You are awfully negative a lot of the time, but that's just the way you are, I guess. Pessimism is a philosophy of life or something like that, and I neither can nor want to try to take that from you. The same is true with Insane Steve, who has always openly claimed to be cynical and pessimistic. But something that Steve has never been, I think, is flamboyantly opinionated (i.e. in everyone else's face with it all the time) or outright rude. You, on the other hand, have had a tendency toward both, and that's what I keep posting about.



Maybe things have changed, and now behaving that way is considered acceptable in these forums. It certainly didn't used to be, though. So if I'm not getting after people when they're being like that, then I don't believe I'm doing a very good job as one of the admins. But if things have indeed changed, then I'm not sure why we even have mods or admins anymore.

Great, so I mention Mariology ONCE, just to say not to turn this topic into it, and Watoad attacks me for a blatantly misunderstood quote from months ago that has postively nothing to do with this topic. So now I reply and say that he is taking this the wrong way when it doesn't even have anything to do with him, and so he gets into a big rant about the deteriorating moral fibers of me and society. And now, as I reply, I know that this post will be rediculously blown out of proportion, and I will be attacked for insulting Watoad, the forums, and the American way of life. Or something like that.

Quite honestly, I'm getting tired of explaining myself. Do what you like. If you leap out of bounds again (like that time I edited your post and got you upset with me for the first time), then perhaps the other multitudes of mods and admins will step in so that you don't have to worry about me. If you eventually go out of control with that temper of yours—which I'm thinking and hoping won't happen—then I'll do what I have to do.

Truth is, banning people isn't fun. Yeah, CashCrazed, that's actually true. (Thank you for your nice posting habits since then, by the way. I really mean it.)

Now I have something to get off my chest:

You know what, Watoad? Just FORGET IT! I have no intention of starting a flame war. How about the Mods just close this topic? They have all the reason to. It has gone so off-topic, that it has died and been reincarnated as the Let's All Act Like Glorb Is A Horrible Person topic. So just close it, okay? I won't mind. But Watoad, just remember that you started this thing. First a few people begin to go all Mariology on the topic, and I object. Then you quote me from an entirely different topic from a few months ago, and I reply in a perfectly acceptable manner, then you act as if I am polluting the world with my evil deathrays, and then act as if I am out of bounds, and drive me to the point where I have no choice but to end this topic.

I had a bad feeling about the relations between you and me, being so on edge and all. So I talked to a few other mod/admin people about, and they assured me that I was okay. But perhaps they were just trying to be nice.

As you request, I take responsibility for the hard feelings between us.

As you do not request, I give you my honest apology for those hard feelings (which is to say that I mean it). I take no satisfaction in hurting people.

As you request, I will close this topic.

And finally, I resign all of my admin "powers" for a month as a final token of truth that I mean what I say.
