Author Topic: Unintelligent Rulers  (Read 5984 times)

« on: October 16, 2005, 08:53:53 PM »
I just have to bring this up, because of something someone I can't remember said on here.

Princess Peach Toadstool is the ruler of The Mushroom Kingdom, but did you notice she's not very smart.  Now I don't want to stereotype blondes, but...I can't think of a way to finish this sentence.  (JK)

Just listen to these quotes:
"I'm your mama?" (SMS) Okay, she should know.  I mean, I'm sure any normal person would notice carrying a freak monster baby for 9 months, let alone do stuff with Bowser at all.  This is a question she shouldn't have to ask at all.

"You're Bowser's son..." (SMS) - No, really, sherlock!

"Come over Mario, I've baked a cake for you" (SM64) - stereotype stereotype stereotype

"I can't belive I lost!" (MKDD) - Really?

"Mario!?" (SMS - Looking at Shadow Mario) - Um...he's blue.

Well that's all I can think of for now...feel free to add other quotes that highlight her unintelligence.

"Mario!?" (SMS - Looking at Shadow Mario) - Um...he's blue.

Um, she was calling down to the real Mario.

I liked Toddathon's post, it made me feel less sad.

“Of all the people I know, it is expected that Watoad will say ‘cheese’ first.”
"Hello Kitty is cool, but I like Keroppi the best."

But really, he's right. People don't just forget about spending a night at a big monster's house.

AND, I think it's weird that she's like I'm your mama? So you're Bowser's son? That's like: Oh yeah, I remember now.

And how about "The moon? You mean the moon that hangs up in the sky at night?" -PMTTYD No, the moon that hangs up in the sky during the day.

You ever seen Pokemon Todd? Apparantly it's really easy to trick people with crappy disguises. Shadow Mario just proves the point even further.

It's also pretty common for some people to exclaim "I can't believe I lost" when they well..lose.

I think this was more along the lines of:

> "[You think that] I'm your mama?"

Today's actually... nobody's birthday!  Quick, hurry up and make a baby!

... But that doesn't mean that I disagree with you.  I think that as Peach's personality became more fleshed out over the years, she evolved into the ditsy stereotype.  It's sad.

I would say it started sometime after SM64.

If Peach is the ruler of the mushroom kingdom, how come she's not Queen Peach?

She's also to soft. She doesn't even try to escape being kidnapped. I bet she justs stands there instead of running away.

Aarom I'm surprised at you. Have you not played Paper Mario? Throughout the game she makes multiple attempts to escape only to be thrown back in her prison.

In the Mario world, babies are born when the stork brings them.
