If there was a game where Mario lost his ability to jump, do you think it would be good? Would it even BE a Mario game?

(Kinda like that game where Sonic lost his ability to run)

Man, that's a tough one, it might be good :D, but just about every 2D game now gives the player the ability to jump. So I am undecided :-\

Augh... The smileys...

I don't think it would be very good at all. In MK:DD, I was disappointed in the lack of bouncing-- but then, the karts were bigger and there were two people per kart.

I imagine he'd be stuck at World 1-1 forever. Or, at least until the time ran up.

Augh... The smileys...

Maybe I should cut down on those things, if they are really that annoying.

If Mario wasn't able to jump normally, then there should be a powerup to make Mario jump temporarily.

If Mario couldn't jump, then I would have a broken TV and 20 broken systems.

I only own 2, I'll go on a rampage.

Wouldn't that first Goomba take him out before the time ran out in 1-1?

yoshimastar · « **Reply #8 on:** November 21, 2005, 05:40:46 PM »

No it wouldn't be Mario.

It would be Legend of Zelda.

If Mario couldn't jump he would die so quick. I don't even know how he could beat Bowser.

The only game that they could take jumping out is for a Mario Kart game.

So if he could jump, that would suck so much

Don't you mean "if he couldn't", Mr.Typo?

Mr. Koopa · « **Reply #11 on:** November 21, 2005, 06:44:42 PM »

He could Beat Bowser, All he has to do is run under when he jumps.

BP · « **Reply #12 on:** November 21, 2005, 09:02:28 PM »
