Okay, I just dug out SM 64 DS the other day and now I'm hooked yet again. I wanted to get every power star, but I'm having a little trouble with the pyriamid puzzle star in Shifting Sand Land. I don't exactly know what to do. Can anyone help?

You have to get inside the pyramid and solve the puzzle.

To solve the puzzle, carefully reach the top and look at the ledge. You should see a coin there. Get it and you should see 1 appear. Go down care fully getting more coins until you end up in the sand-moving slide or whatever that is and collect the other coins.

Get the star.

That's the 64 version. In the DS version, they changed the coins to silver stars. The stars are shown on the map. Oh, and the coins/stars are inside the pyramid.

Use Luigi! You can backflip, and control your falling from the apex of the backflip, thus making it easier for you to collect the silver stars.
Go to the top of the prymid, and backflip off the edge. Try to move Luigi so you can easily get the silver stars on the way down.

FieryLuigi and PaperLuigi? Uh, oh. Paper and Fire... ouch.
If my son could decimate Lego cities with his genitals, I'd be [darn] proud.

You can use Luigi for everything in SM64DS, it's not even fair. And if you meant in SM64, this would be an opportunity for me to shout at you "Luigi is not in Super Mario 64!!!" but that's rather unlikely so never mind.

Actually BP, for the fact that Luigi is not in SM64, they finally get the chance to know what it's like playing as him in SM64DS.
I'm a horrible person.

Luigi's the best guy overall, just because he can float. Then it's Wario, just because he's like Mario, only stronger. Mario's average, so he comes in third. Yoshi's the odd man out, due to his weird control and lack of punching.
