Yes, Lizard Dude, it's Ra. In the movie, however, the alien that inhabited the guy that stepped forward looked like an Asgard.

I think what you mean is the alien inhabited by Ra. The Goa'uld can use more than humans and Unas for hosts. Ra was just using something weird, but he was still a snake-like symbiote inside there.

I think I'd better watch Stargate again. My confidence hasn't faded yet.

The only problem here is that you said you liked the symbiote enemies (Goa'uld) from SG-1 better than the enemy from original movie. However, the series and movie both have Goa'uld as enemies. You never actually see one in the movie and rarely see one in the show because they're inside the body of the host. You see the host. It's true that Ra was in a weird, Asgard-looking host. Goa'uld in the show are usually inside human hosts.

I guess you're saying you like Goa'uld in human hosts as an enemy better than a Goa'uld in some funky host (because it's in reality just some alien they made for the movie before the concept of Goa'uld symbiotes even existed and we have to retroactively go back and warp the movie's original ideas to fit the info that came later).

I saw "The Simple Life of Noah Dearbourne". It was rated R or PG-13 but it was a pleasent movie. Nothing bad. It didn't even  deserve to be mentioned for strong language

This is something kind of related to movies.  In my drama class, I'm was going to be in a scene from LotR: TT, where Goullom or something and Smeagol or something are arguing.  At first, it was going to be just me onstage fight myself, which I would have loved, but to be fair I'm doing it with another kid who does a very good impression of the movie person.  So now I have to do an equally good imitation or I'm toast.

As a last remark, Lizard Dude, I'm pretty confused. I thought that Ra was the funky looking alien just as the landing ship exploded.

We watched Saw the other night.  My wife was disgusted during and scared afterward, but the next day she asked me to rent Saw II.

Yes. About 14 weeks now.

So Saw did not hurt the baby.

Yes, that funky looking alien is Ra, but Ra is Goa'uld, so Ra is actually a worm controlling the body of the funky looking alien, who used to have free will. What you see is the host of Ra, being controlled by Ra, usually referred to as Ra.
