When you reach the first staircase in World 5-1, scroll forward until the wind starts to blow. Get on one of the steps (or the ground), and face left. Release the B Button if you were holding it, and then rapidly tap Left on the Control Pad several times. The wind should push you into the stairs! Once you're inside the stairs, you'll be pulled through to the other side. This trick will work in any windy area.
