Overview |
Nintendo Puzzle Collection is a collection of three previously-released puzzle games:
Dr. Mario (using graphics from Dr. Mario 64), Yoshi's Cookie (with new graphics!), and Panel De Pon (long story short, the original version of Tetris Attack).
All three games feature versus modes where two to four players can compete head-to-head for ultimate puzzle-master bragging rights. This marks the first time where any version of Yoshi's Cookie and Panel De Pon supports more than two players at once.
Game Boy Advance connectivity
Using the GBA Cable, players can download NES-ish versions of the games onto a GBA for portable puzzle action. Also, the GBA can be used as an optional controller while playing the games on the GameCube.
Yoshi's Cookie
The story mode in Yoshi's Cookie pits you against common enemies from the Mario universe and even some from Super Mario World. Each difficulty setting has different opponents for stages 1 through 5. Stage 6 is always Thwomp followed by Kamek, and stage 7 is always Bowser.
