Donkey Kong and Samus battle it out in Disneyland's Splash Mountain.  These guys managed to combine two of my favorite things into one amazing combo -- sort of like Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, but less messy.

Once again, a group of Mario fanatics will be playing through the majority of Super Mario series while raising money for the Child's Play children's charity.  Starting on Friday, June 24th, Shirt Guy, Couch Guy, Slouch Guy and Shorts Guy will be playing the Super Mario games for as long as donations hold out.  That's right, you can keep these guys trapped on a couch all weekend, playing Mario games, simply by making a donation!  Others might do that every weekend on their own, but these guys are doing it for the children.

In case you hadn't heard, Link turned 25 yesterday. The Legend of Zelda was released in Japan on Feb. 21, 1986, and Miyamoto's boy in green has been saving the princess ever since (just like his big brother).

Did you miss your chance to grab a copy of Super Mario All-Stars for the Wii back in December? Based on Toys R Us's website, it appears that an All-Stars re-release is ready to hit stores on March 13. You can pre-order from the Toys R Us website now, but note that they limit it to one item per customer.

In the latest volume of Iwata Asks: Super Mario 25th Anniversary, Shigeru Miyamoto mentions that he is "making a new Super Mario Bros. game for the Nintendo 3DS system." Though this doesn't exactly come as a surprise, it's nice to have confirmation. No other details were given, but I'd say it's likely that we'll hear more about the game during this year's E3.
