It's that time of year again! And also that time of decade again for the first time! Time for awards! Yay awards! With special tenthiversary edition awards!

There are rules! These are them!

• Don't vote for yourself. Vote for me instead.
• Unless there's any major objections, we're doing it like last year -- you can vote for two people in each category, either as a tie (Deezer/Sapphira) or as a winner and runner-up (1. Deezer 2. Sapphira).
• You can change your vote by editing your post as many times as you want until voting closes.
• You may abstain from any categories you want. If a category doesn't get enough interest, it might not get awarded.
• Feel free to add in your own category ideas and see if they catch on.
• Votes should be for stuff that happened in 2010, or after December 12, 2009 (when the last awards started).
• Voting will close at 12:01 AM (Eastern) on February 8th, 2011.

Most Creative Poster: Out of all the painters and authors here, who's the best?
Most Creepiest Poster: Your hair smells good.
Smartest Poster: Who's the most out-of-place here?

Best Mod: Which evil overlord do you most want to suck up to?
Best Newbie: In amongst the spambots are quite a few diamonds in the rough. Pick some.
Blast from the Past: Despite the forum's continued downward spiral into 4chanity, a few brave old souls venture back into the hopeless abyss once in a while. Who was the sight for sorest eyes?
Most Missed: Who needs to come back here to stop said downward spiral?
Most Improved: Who's done the most to curtail their own personal downward spiral?

Dynamic Duo: Laurel and Hardy. Batman and Robin. Laverne and Shirley. Hitler and Churchill. Glorb and Ped Xing. All the classic duos of history. Who's the latest pair to be enshrined in those historic halls?
Queen of Posters: Tie your mother down before voting in this category! Because "Tie Your Mother Down" was a song by Queen on the SMB movie soundtrack. Wow that was a lame attempt at a joke.
WTD Award: Plasmaspine colleague hair torchcomb.
Deezer Award: Who can laugh and play all the way through Mario 3? Who can feed bread with the best of them? Who deezed the hell out of this place?

I surfed here using a PS3 for half the year so I had a weird perspective and lowered capabilities for much of it. I'll prob still vote though. CE7 is great keeper for these awards; his category descriptions were hilarious.

If Mr. Wiggles and ShadowBrian don't go 1-2 on Creepiest I'll eat my hat. I do like how Turtlekid1 backed up his vote for me with evidence, though.

It's a testament to how accurate his category descriptions are when the two people who have received Poster of the Year votes so far spent much of the year making dick jokes.

Funniest Poster: Weegee's a shoe-in, but I unfortunatly must admit that Lizard Dude has his moments as well.
Most Creative Poster: ninjap00 certainly lent a (slightly demented) artistic presence... but I must also give CE7 props for making his image request thread.
Most Creepiest Poster: I couldn't bring myself to nominate my partner in crime, Weegee, so I'll go with Lizard Dude, with WarpRattler bringing up the rear.
Smartest Poster: Oh, shoot, I don't know... just give it to PaperLuigi.
Best Mod: Kimimaru followed by The Chef, because why not.
Best Newbie: JazzyLuv seems to be doing well lately!
Blast from the Past: However briefly, Insane Steve. And then I don't extremely remember his return, but it sounds like jmdblazer was out and about this year, so give him #2.
Most Missed: The nicer Glorb. And, I guess BP...
Most Improved: Turtlekid, I reckon.
Dynamic Duo: For lack of a more thoughtful option, let's go with Lizard Dude and Turtlekid1.

WTD Award: In a way, I really have to give it to Glorb first and Suber Bloober second.
Deezer Award: Seeing as he's actually shown his digital face a few times this year, I think this one should naturally go to Deezer.

Now, I haven't been here a whole ten years, so I'll just say what I think some the best things I've ever seen here are:

Topic of the Decade: ShadowBrain's Harem.
Post of the Decade: This is a daunting one... I'll just go with the two I remember most from all the awards seasons I've been here, if only for the sake of the occasion: That "Eye Puff Angst" post of LD's, followed by the faux Wikipedia entry on a resident troll whose name escapes me.
Image of the Decade: Advice Dog, duh. Runner-up: That Creation of Man picture LD put on the first post of YL, YL that got taken down.
Poster of the Decade: I'm treading on delicate ground here, so how about... CrossEyed7, followed by LD?
