I always assumed the Piantas genetically engineered them so that they could stay domesticated on the islands without running away.

The worst thing about Super Mario Sunshine was Bowser. I was fine with pretty much everything else.

Thanks!

I've only played it a few times myself; the last reward I got was the 10 Pokeballs.

I played the demo for the 3DS and Wii U version at Best Buy. One thing Best Buy (and Nintendo) failed to mention about the event, was that they would have guys in Mario/Luigi/Wario hats with two 3DS XLs attached to their belts that played SSB3DS. If you caught up with them, they let you play a round of Smash Run (including a battle after the stage) for a few minutes. What I found funny was that the demo roster for the 3DS was larger than (or maybe just different from) the one for the Wii U. While I can't remember what was on the 3DS version very well, I'm positive the Wii U version at least included these:

Mario
Bowser
Rosalina and Luma
Sonic
Mega Man
Little Mac
Pit
Wii Fit Trainer
Villager
Greninja
Pikachu
Fox
Kirby
Marth
Olimar
Samus
Zero Suit Samus

Those are the only ones I remember, anyway. They started out with technical difficulties, and the event didn't start for at least 45 minutes after 4 PM. Luckily my friend and I got a decent place in line, but it still took at least 3 hours before we made it to play. Eventually everyone in the store was in line. I couldn't tell if there were confused shoppers or if everyone else had just left. We were getting close to the end of the line, and they informed us that they were cutting the time in half; originally, they gave everyone two two-minute rounds (running up to four minutes total), but apparently the crowd was too large and they took out the second round for everyone else. As my friend and I like to live dangerously, we picked random. The stage roster was fairly small (especially compared to the character roster), but still decent. I only saw basic platform stages, like the Pilotwings stage (which we actually picked).

I ended up getting Pit, and they did improve him, but I still sucked at using him. Everyone else kept picking Greninja. I'm pretty sure the only round without Greninja yesterday was the one I was in. They turned on all items and I saw a couple of Final Smashes, but nothing too new. Giga Mac looks pretty awesome. After our two minute round, we went over to a little table with some souvenirs. I saw people leaving with Mario Kart 8 flags, but I was given no such flag. I did get a couple of SSB sticker decals and a pin. Unfortunately, everyone wants to go back on Saturday, and even though it was awesome, that was longer than I was hoping it would take.

Just played several rounds with LD; he dominated. :/

Fun, nonetheless! I caught up a couple of times, which surprised me, because I (usually) suck.

I caught my first shiny today: Smeargle

After chaining 20+ times (I don't think I hit 30 when it happened) in that crazy huge grassy area on route 7(?), I found a sparkling patch of grass, and proceeded to freak out. Being 22, this reaction is about 13 years later than it should have been. I also nearly chained enough for a shiny Ditto in the Pokemon Village, but naturally, 30+ chains later, I got distracted by a friggin' Noctowl.

Also, I'll take the mental institution, because I already own GBA Ruby and want to give it a spin. Either way, my brother is getting OR, so I'm not going to be missing out on much in the first place.

- The Train Stage stuff from Wario Land 1 & 2, with awesome music.
- Anywhere in the Beanbean Kingdom
- Holli Jolli Village from Partners in Time, along with periodically appearing Shroob ships attacking the stage and characters

Those are some ideas I have off the top of my head.

The comments on that video are more irritating than anything. I think it was the same for the original.

It's good as an artform, I suppose, but when you've got an art gallery full of know-it-all snobs, it kind of ruins the magic for you. Then again, I'm pretty sure that this is the sole reason I hated "Art Appreciation" class.
