The official DS micro SD card adapter is set to release soon in Japan, for what it's worth.

I think they might be somewhere along the lines of WiiWare for the DS, where you could download brand-new games for the system. You would probably store them on the SD card Megabyte mentioned.

I doubt that'll ever materialize, but that's only because I can never get cool downloadable thingies like you rich folks get.
