Sorry for reviving this, but check out this forum. Everyone here is flaming the troll. The troll can't let anyone have opinions.

Whoo hoo. It's getting more fun.

I can't seem to find The Troll. Maybe you could give us a more specific link to the troll.

It's abby60. I mean when we're playing hurt and heal, we're voting and she votes us off!

The GameFAQs forums sure are hard to read.
Remember that your first Goomba boldly you walk? When Mario touched that mushroom being brought up more largely remember that you are surprised? Miscalculate your jump that pit remember that it falls?

I'm not sure of the exact rules of the GameFAQs boards but other boards are more lenient about thier rules than the Fungi Forums. But I guess what that abby girl is doing can be considered spam. It's also definitely flooding.

I agree with MaxVance. Those boards are hard to read.

I use to frequent the TV.com boards to discuss shows but that place was so overloaded with trolls and morons who wouldn't listen to reason that I just left. There was also that one guy named Zarius who was one of the most hated guys their and at other message boards I've visited. Thankfully he's banned from most of them now.

The Serebii boards were pretty fine as far as fanboards go. Unfortunately, every thread started to degenerate into regular members vs newbies flame wars or the same people complaining about getting certain pokemon through special events. Then the webmaster decided to fire the good mods, hire a bunch of random people and then adding so many new rules and giving every mod too much power, which broke the last straw and I quietly left.

I 100% agree with you there. There are alot of jerks there now, enspecially Kauser and Edward Elric. Kauser was some Code LYOKO fanboy who flamed me for disliking the show, even though I gave out reasons to why I dislike it. I mean, I don't care if someone likes it or not, as long as they don't give me the bumrap for disliking it. It's not like I go around saying "you Code LYOKO fanboys are supid. The show sucks".

Then theres Edward Elric, a Fullmetal Alchemist fanboy (who obviously named his member name after the main character) and mod. Of coarse, he acts like a troll sometimes rather than a mod. For example, when some accidently said that 4Kids dubbed Naruto, he said "[wtd] have you been smoking?". Then another time he tells a member of the "Favorite Sin Homunculus [from FMA]" to shut up and that it isn't a popularity contest. Uh, what? It IS on. Anything with the words "Best" and "Favorite" usually are a popularity contest. Seriously, he needs to learn to chill.

And then theres Dogasu, another mod. While not a complete jerk like Edward, he seems to have a problem with people using the word "gay" as an explenitive for stupid or lame, and goes as far as calling people "homophobe" for saying so. While I rather use other words to describe things that aren't cool, I don't go around saying someones a homophobe for saying which. Besides, gay didn't mean homosexual until the, I don't know, 70's or 80's?

I don't know why I even bother still hanging out in there. Maybe it's my fanboyism twards Pokemon. Maybe it's my fanboyism twards anime. I mean, it's not like I hate the boards, I just hate some of the people there. I wish it went back to the way it was.

I think the rules on bigger boards are harder to enforce because there are more members. The Fungi Forums have only about 40 active members, though. Maybe our strict rules are keeping people from joining us.

Also, most "spammers" here (such as DarthTedd64) usually leave after people get annoyed with his/her actions, so at least we don't have to deal with that.

abby flamed us, insulted me, and asked pointless questions. She also got a mod to ban Aarom12 for me saying that I don't like Toad and it's an opinion. Now I'm NINTENDOROXORS.

Maybe I'll sign up there. If it helps with games, I'm on to it!

This is the reason I don't got to huge boards like the GameFAQs and IGN ones. I prefer the smaller gated communities. Except for Rangerboard, but it's now, as I like to call it, neutered Rangerboard, due to the actors visiting.

Poop Dude: Edward Elric is still in power!?!? I thought he'd be demodded for the number of times he acted like a jerk. I mean he was fine when he was just a normal member as EliteTrainerRaven but once he was promoted to a mod he let the power corrupt him. Plus he overused text smilies, which annoy me to no end.

I also go to elfwood, more to look at the art (which can be really cool), but you can leave a message regarding certain pieces that you like or not.

Yep. He's still a power hungry jerk of a mod and still overuses smilies aswell. Ugh, he reminds me of this really annoying girl from TYFN who also overuses smilies.

Gah, I've been to the Sonic Adventure 2 Battle Board and the people there are harsh. My account was banned on GameFaqs, and they're telling me to go there even after I clearly said that I was banned.

I also read a topic saying that Gamespot gave it a 6.8 out of 10. They're not trusting Gamespot anymore. I said it's their opinion, they said it was wrong. Then I said no it's not. Then they said my opinion was wrong.

Let's not forget these hard-core people who can beat stages in 5 seconds. I found it hard to believe but then everyone flamed me. I just thought it was doubtful to get 5 seconds in a level then they showed me how they did it. They should have showed me how first instead of flaming.

Also, there's these bigshots like Dudeboy, Jolt, and Daefos who think they can flame me because it's my first time on that board and they made a FAQ that was stickied. They think their rep is so high, that they can mess with all of us.

Please tell me you weren't trying to use logic and reason on GameFAQs. GameFAQs is notorius for being a meeting place for n00bs, trolls and spammers, plus it's one huge flamefest. If you want to win, you'll have to flame back.

QF Absolutely immense E.

GameFAQs is one of the biggest (probably 2nd worst) proponents of removing the word "opinion" from the English language that I have ever seen. ('sup NewGrounds BBS)

You should have seen KRR a while back. It's not so bad anymore, but there's a moderator who's still in power there who used to be the biggest flamer on the site, and apparently hated my guts on account of me identifying myself as a conservative Christian. There's not much of a need for me to get into further detail, though, since I have just mentioned this same moderator in another thread here.

I've only been on this board and on KRR, but I've had enough bad experiences at the latter to last me a lifetime. Things seemed especially bad on the KRR chat (I'm banned from there now), where certain people's rudeness and irrationality often caused me to lose my temper and become very bitter. I have never been popular at KRR, and have probably been extremely low on the popularity totem pole at times; but I will admit that this was often partly my own fault, as my reactions to the things I suffered there were often quite out of line also.

I don't want to sound self-pitying, but I like to get these sorts of things out. I have a lot of pent-up frustration in me after those experiences. Sometimes I wonder why I even go to KRR anymore. But for some reason I do.
