Clones eventually learn about their existence, and then try to eradicate you. Therfore, clones suck.

Pros

An eternal, unconditional bond.
Playing tricks!
Sharing clothes!
Sharing the things I enjoy with someone who understands them perfectly!

Cons

I'm not a very good person in the first place!
Competition to differentiate from one another and gain self-identity.
Clones freak me out!
He drinks all the milk! Can't this guy get a job??

Pro: All the extra kidneys I could ever want.

Con: Chance of permanent original/clone ID switch could happen way too easy.

Would I be weird if I said it'd be awesome if you could make out with a clone of yourself? The clone wouldn't HAVE to be the same gender...>_>

Hypothetically a guy could make a female clone by copying his X chromosome twice. But how would a girl make a male clone? The Y chromosome would have to come from somewhere.

I could clone my pet cat but make it a mecha-gerbil by fusing its robot chromosome with its gerbil DNA! It would be the ULTIMATE LIFEFORM! Hahaha! I would rob banks and even Fort Knox, but no one, I repeat no one could stop me! Bwahahaha!

Until I create my righteous Ninja Hamster, cloned from a robot bandicoot and a hamster. They would have a fight to the death on the little spinny wheel and my ninja hamster would sacrifice himself to kill your gerbil. Then everyone would be sad and square enix would find out about the story. The end result,

Having a clone would suck. You'd have to share birthdays.

The idea of creating a clone of yourself with a different gender for a girlfriend/boyfriend is interesting, but I seriously don't think anyone could tolerate themselves. Couples that are too much alike never work out.

To be honest, I think girl me would be quite different from current me.

But we'd hate each other and not want to date. Or like each other and never ask each other out because neither one of us could figure out the other's feelings about them. I don't know.

Not really, if the clone was made on a day other than your birthday, then it will have a different birthday. Duh

Dating a female version of yourself would be incest.

Regarding birthdays: one pro of having a clone would be that you would always know the perfect gift to give them, and you'd always get a perfect gift from them. You'd never really be surprised, though.
