All Vidgmchtr, Master of French, needed to do was type "dict ennui" (or the equivalent on his fruity browser) to see that it is, indeed, a French noun, derived from the Old French verb of which he speaks.

I don't care that I might be bumping this.  I'm contributing to it, so it can't necessarily be counted as a bump can it?

I don't care about people who are indifferent about things I like.  We don't have to like the same things.
I don't care about religious matters, but when extremists attack a fictional concept, like magic, then I don't care FOR the religious matters.
