You're still in school? Aw, man, I now how you feel. I ALWAYS miss SOMETHING on Math test 'cuz of stupid mistakes. On the first semester exam in my alg. 2 class, I kept having to recheck my work on this ONE stupid problem we had to *solve*, unlike just answering mult. choice questions where you have a 4th chance getting it right. That one question was a big part of the exam, too. I spent so much time fixing the little errors I kept making, that I ran out of time to finish the rest of the exam. I wasn't even half-way done with the mult. choice probs! Frantically I skimmed the test for true-false questions, which I could answer quickly w/o solving. So...about 1/3 of the mult choice part was completed, and the solving ones completely done... The rest of it I just filled in BBBBBBB,CCCCCCC,BBBBBBB...like that.  I asked my teacher if unanswered questions would count against you, hoping that she would take the number of correct out of the number I completed--some teachers are nice and do that. But alas...she said they counted against me... so I filled in the left over bubbles.

My odds were PRETTY slim of getting an A that semester. I had like a 96%--the highest grade in the class, no less, and now it would be brought down by not having enough time on a stupid exam... Not fair. I calculated it, and in order to still have an A I had to get at LEAST like a 74% (that's a D) on the exam...  *forlorn sigh* I got a 69 on it...the highest possible F--70% being a D-. Stupid grading scale!! In Cali a 70% is a C-!

I was *SO* close to getting an A... goodbye, sweet, sweet 4.0 unweighted GPA...
Luckily, though, I had to be pulled out of school, dropping this year--and all my grades in it--entirely. Granted I'll now be class of '05 instead... but at least it'll be like this year never existed (thankfully, since it's drop-pass, not drop-fail. Drop-fail would've been 6 big fat F's inserted into my perfect GPA... now I won't be hindered...grade wise...)

Oh, I see. Well, that's lousy, but at least you don't have to get held back.

Oh, and I had some unknown mystery illness. Seriously, the doctors, ENT, psychiatrist, counselor, my parents... No one could figure it out. I, personally, think I had mono--I mean, I had all the symptoms--cronic fatigue, weakness, achiness, etc., but the results turned out negative when they did a blood check. Then again, my mom said when she had mono, she had to have 5 blood tests before they finally detected it.

What I think happened was that I got so stressed and overwhelmed with school work, on top of lack of sleep, and depressed that my immune system went WAY down. Then I would catch every single little bug going around at school when I finally was healthy enough to go back. Then I got overwhelmed with make-up work again, and it turned into a vicious cycle. Read around pg 88-on in the Mario Bar.

An crud. My mom's kicking me off. :(

Like I said, Marionut, I know where you live but I'm not posting it for your sake.

No, it wasn't like the flu. I felt nauseous, but in a non-'throw-uppy' way. I was mostly just the symptoms I described earlier.

Guh, sorry I took so long. I guess I wasn't as good at this game as I used to be. Anyways, I'm pretty sure that this is what you wanted, if not, let me know.

Sorry about your test, MarioNut. Also, a girl in my class went through the same thing as Sapph, did. Well, sort of. She only suffered from Major Depression, I don't believe she ever became ill. She was the top of the class, but, no longer.

I had thought it was uncommon, I guess it's not so much as I had thought it was.

EDIT: Hm, you'll have to right click them, and then go to Save Target as. Brinkster is being a little stubborn right now, I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Wow, thanks, Black Mage! Sorry I made you go through so much work; I didn't know it would be so hard. Anyway, I really appreciate it. :)

Heh, don't worry about it. It wasn't any extra work for me. I was going to play through that game sometime anyway. It was just a matter of getting there.

Playing games is never work. ;D

Bleh no need to appologise BM...it just seems that this year Ive hit a so called "speed bump" in grades...so far my Algebra 2 and English 2 grades have dropped from As and Bs to Cs Ds and Fs...In English, I tried to add my "touch" to the essays..and ended up getting reamed out by my teacher..saying it "didnt want my opinion, but the books opinon" Bleh the essay was wrote really good..after that all ive really been able to write is crappy dull essays...that still dont please the 64 year old witch...

I know how you feel. The proverbial "Speed Bump" hits us all at one point in our lives. I'm not sure what your tests are like, but I know, in New York, and only 3 or 4 other states, they give "Regents Exams." These are better than Local Credits, and basically are required to get into a good college.

Both my Math and French grades have basically been a stick in the mud for my average. I've had the darndest time raising them. Not to mention, I had both regents on the same day, a few days back. Ah well, we all have out problems, but I'm sure we'll both manage.

EDIT: I made up two words. >>;

Also, to be quite honest, I think it's sort of a dumb question. :)
