Wait, someone actually likes the new seasons of Ed, Edd n' Eddy?

I wish CN just let it end after season 4. When I heard there was 2 more seasons coming, I was initially excited. Then I caught the new episodes one day and thought, "Oh dear, what did they do?". First off, one of EEnE's charms was that it was endless summer. Going back to school would've definitely ruined the feel of the show. And it did. Then, Eddy was changed from being a greedy, swindling loser to a mean spirited loser and the punching bag of everyone. Sure, the Eds never won in their attempts to scam the kids and more than once were beaten to bloody pulps but it never got to the point where Eddy was constantly beaten and humiliated in every single episode. Lastly, Jimmy's voice. It makes my ears bleed. Oh yeah, and Kevin and Double D now appear to be Mary-Sues. All they're missing now is an anthromorphic talking animal buddy that appeals to drooling preschoolers.
As a game that requires six friends, an HDTV, and skill, I can see why the majority of TMK is going to hate on it hard.

Well, I do recall one of the key people who helped make the cartoon died shortly before season 4 ended, maybe that's one of the reasons it has lost its "charm".

I haven't watched the show in quite a long time, and caught an episode a few weeks ago. It was fine, but a little different from what the cartoon's usual formula is.

I stopped watching Ed, Edd, n' Eddy about a year ago, but before I stopped watched, I loved it.  Why did I stop watching it?  The only episodes I was able to catch around that time were reruns. ......or perhaps I have a sixth sense that caught wind of its trip 'down the pooper'? O.O *Twilight Zone music plays*

Ed, Edd and Eddy, Spongebob, Billy and Mandy, and others were all very good cartoons, but have lost their touch and the fans know it. The only two good cartoons on Cartoon Network right now are Foster's and Camp Lazlo. Everything thing else is complete and utter crap that deserves to be shoved down the pooper until the toilet itself clogs and floods the whole Earth (although I'm beginning to understand and like Kids Next Door after watching some VERY good episodes).

You could tell writers are trying with KND. Seen Operation ZERO? I never would have thought that was who Numbuh Zero was, but it makes sense now. I also loved Operation WHITEHOUSE, and to see Numbuh One grown up ( it was really cool to see Numbuhs 2 & 3 grow up, too. )
I can't agree with the Billy and Mandy thing. It's the first show on CN to make it to 7 Seasons, and I still love to see the eps. Before you decide to tune out whenever it's on, please at least be sure to watch the new Billy and Mandy TV movie coming out early 2007. Give it one more chance.
I used to hate Gym Partner, but I'm one of the few that love the character designs. The voices in Gym Partner are very good, too.
I really hate to admit it, and I mean I REALLY hate to say it, but you're probably right about Ed, Edd, N' Eddy. I loved that show but the new eps are hard to watch.
Speaking of shows getting new episodes that no one likes anymore, did anyone catch last weeks Spongebob? It was an awesome episode and reminded me of why I started to watch SpongeBob to begin with.

Random thing to say: I'm really happy CN is airing Courage all month. I loved that show.
Another random thing: My friend, Hayley, is devastated. She loved watching Danny Phantom, and when I told her it is getting cancelled, she was so sad. Speaking of which, who else hates the fact that Nick airs the DP eps out of order? The newest ep aired, Urban Jungle, was actually the 6th ep of the new season. Danny meets a friend in the ep that he met before the original date the ep was supposed to air. Why can't Nick treat DP with respect and air it in order? :\

Sonic X did not end well.  Season 3 was one of the more innovative Sonic seasons ever, but it was overshadowed by complaints about horrific dubbing and terrible rewrites from people who saw the originals in Japanese.  Plus, 4kids created a plothole with the Cosmo situation.  In the original script, she was slated to die.  But because "everything is sunshine and roses and nothing bad ever happens," according to them, they rewrote the dialog and cut out important scenes, thus removing the drama.  They then did even more of a hack job on the final episode, ending it with Chris going home, but we never find out if he gets there.  You'd think those were intended to indicate another season, but for now they're just plotholes.

Uh, that isn't the dubs fault. It was supposed to leave you wondering whether or not Chris got home. Though I hate the English dub of Sonic X with a burning fiery passion ( which is why I own the uncut subs )that is still not the dub's fault, though I agree with everything else you have said about your hate for the dub.

I know, the old ED episodes were great, now, they aren't bad, but they have lost their touch.
Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

PaperMario: I don't hate the dub, I was just explaining why everybody else does.
I always figured "Time to tip the scales" was Wario's everyday motto.

Danny Phantom was gonna get cancelled from the start, I knew it. I used to watch Nickelodeon when I was little. Ren and Stimpy is the best cartoon ever and stupid Nick had to cancel it. Invader Zim...OMG! That was even better then Ren and Stimpy. Nick used to be good from 1978-1998, then Spongebob and Fairly OddParents came and it BLOWN Nick. They make these worthless and pathetic shows now. (Mr.Meaty = Desperate) And then the real blow, they actually tore down the Nickelodeon Studios and (Gasps) THE FOUNTAIN OF SLIME!!
Here's other reasons why Nick is almost DONE:

Zoey 101: Wow, Jamie Lynn is just as bad as Brittany.

Drake And Josh: Can you say, stupid?

Avatar: Worst american based anime ever.

Danny Phantom: All my friends hate it and it doesn't have any good plots. I'm goin ghost ain't a good catchphrase either.

They cancelled good shows like: SPLAT!, Nick Guts!, AAH! Real Monsters.

What is this world coming to here?

If it's American-based, is it an anime?
That was a joke.

Nintendo Bros, shut up. I've had it with you bashing anime, cartoons and everything.
Luigison: Question everything!
Me: Why?

No.

Not until we see signs of JTS.

I've gotten back into Homestar Runner again. Been watching the latest Sbemails. What do you guys think of 'em, if any of you are H*R fans?

I actually agree with some of the stuff Nintendo Bros. said in his last post.  Aaaaaaggghhh!!!!  Drake and Josh and Zoey 101 are pure crap IMO.  Of course, there are some things in that post that I disagree with.  Once again, he's making his biased comment about hating Avatar, when he could just say he doesn't have any interest in it and avoid hard feelings.  As for Spongebob.  That is an awesome show, and I don't think it hurt Nick very much, if at all.  But, even though I like the show, it's gradually going downhill, and it needs to end before it reaches the uncleanable muck in the drain.

Danny Phantom: It was a great show to start with, but after a while, it went down fast.  Well, the TV movies were awesome.  I especially loved Reignstorm and The Ultimate Enemy.

Catscratch: It had potential, but turned out to be really repetative.

Avatar should NOT end till Aang defeats the Fire Lord (I think Zuko should be the one to destroy Azula) and brings peace and prosperity back to the world.

Sorry for the Double post, but right now, I'm mad at CN and my sattelite provider more than ever!  The guide said "Princess Mononoke", a movie that I really want to see, and when I pressed select, what did I get? the Fantastic 4 cartoon! >_<  To an anime fan artist, you can't get any lower than that.

Sunbun and I were pretty annoyed about that as well. Then I checked Cartoon Network's site, and it said Pokémon Chronicles was supposed to be on at that time (and that's exactly what I saw on my TV).

So, I guess the site of the actual network is better to check than TV Guide's.

Too bad about Princess Mononoke. It's my second favorite Miyazaki film next to Spirited Away. But Fantastic Four + Ultimate Avengers is a good enough replacement for me. I just wish UA was a series and not DTV's.

Holy crap, JLU's season finale is airing! This night is made of pure win!
