Is dulling up the logo's the 2009 trend for Pepsi? I don't like it. I hope Coke doesn't go down that same road.
I know! It's just slowly confirmed to me that, when trying to sell something, the less you stand out the more attention you attract (see Apple and Nintendo). Not that it's a bad thing... I mean, simple is the new complex these days, and I guess it reduces clutter and there's less ink, etc. spent... I don't know. All I do know is that, when I first saw the ad promoting the new Pepsi (logo), I thought it was for Korean Air; and I'm still not totally sure if it's just for Diet Pepsi or not (on account of its thinner-ness).
You mean like, you hadn't seen the new logo in person or what?
No, a girl I know drinks Mountain Dew in class. I swear I did a double take when I saw the can (it's not like I go around just looking up "Mountain Dew" on Wikipedia--though that's what I did to bring you the link, of course).
