What happened to the TMK search engine?
    -Sean Kelly

Deezer: Good question.

Paper Mario was fun it's going to be a million seller sadly it was all too easy the only challenge was Bowser. I played Crash Bandicoot I also beat thoose games, One of my old friends think's Mario is gay he says wow all you do is jump around. I asked him what he likes he said Tomb Raider. I told him it sucks cause you play as a girl oh wait you are one. anyway all my friends are playing Golden Eye 007 I'm the only one it seems to play Mario. Is Super Mario losing poplarity or are my friends act like it's a dumb game
    -fourhs

Deezer: Gay means happy, and happy means gay!

hey deezer, MEGABYTE, david, ................ or ................... j.j., great site, but I have a question about smas. When I play world 2-2 on the lost levels, in the beginning, if you hit that flying koopa at a certain angle you will go flying in to the air, is this a new glitch, or did you already know? I will make a zsnes movie of it if you tell me how to make one.

Deezer: It's not a glitch, but a "trick." It's saved my... er, Mario's butt a few times.

When I first saw that Liugis mansion preview at ign.com I started wondering. Will this new technolgy and Shigeru's "more mature Mario" take away some old characters? Those ghosts I've seen in the video don't look anything alike to Boos (or however you call 'em) and I loved those characters since their first games. But anyway... they might just be part of the demo only to show how good transparencies are. Or they've changed their shape like the goombas in Super Mario World turning them round and bringing the original back in SM64.

P.S. this is the second time i'v sent this because David Dayton felt too tired to finish it.
    -Gabriel

Deezer: P.S. You didn't have to, because when an e-mail doesn't get answered, it stays in the inbox for the next person to use if he wants.

Who the heck is that kid with the gun on the search page?!
    -vze248zh

Deezer: Elián González.

In the last mailbag, you said:

"Oh, and Birdo shows up in SMB2, Super Mario RPG, and Mario Tennis. I think I might have forgotten a game there..."

Birdo is also in Wario's Woods.
    -pacmanneo

Deezer: Indeed she is! She was "Catherine" in Wario's Woods, but only because that's her Japanese name and I guess the translators had never seen Super Mario Bros. 2.

How are we gonna play Kirby's tilt'n'tumble on a emulator? You get to tilt the Game boy to control Kirby! Also, what's the characters you truly want tosee in Super Smash Bros 2?Any way...

ALL YOUR DEEZER ARE BELONG TO PIKAWIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    -Pikawil

Deezer: I heard there was a special emulator just for Kirby's Tilt 'n Tumble. But that's all I know.

Hello, I am from the IRS, and I am going to shut down TMK due to it not paying its taxes on time.
    -Hairball

Deezer: All my money are belong to the government. :(

Okay this isnt exactly Mario but in a sense i guess... where is the E3 going to be held at this year?
    -Mj!

Deezer: Los Angeles, CA.

P.P.S. You should probably shorten this letter for the mailbag.
    -

Deezer: Is this short enough?

Hi! I just want to tell you that you should by now update the MP3 section, because I have one brand new MP3 for you, made by me! Check it out!

    SMB2 Overworld Remix.mp3 (2714K)
    -Agustín Huambachano

Deezer: Uhh... that's just like the original song, but with three sound effects thrown in. Not much of a remix there, bud. ;)

A Luigi like character appears in an episode of Dexter's Lab on CartoonNetwork. The episode is called "Trapped with Avengence" I think. The janitor is tall and has a mario brother mustache. Looks similar to Luigi. I hope this helps you guys out.
    -Super Frog

Deezer: Actually, it creates more work for me. But it helps out TMK!

in the games section when will you finish Paper Mario?
    -stevielh

Deezer: I'll get to it eventually.

    1. What will the first mario game for gamecube called. Mario 128?
    2. Will the gamecube have dvd features?
    3. What game designer compainies have told Nintendo they will make games for gamecube?
    -Smario250

Deezer:
1. God, I hope not.
2. I heard they were going to make a version of the GameCube with DVD-playing capabilities, but that was a long time ago and I'm not sure if they nixed that idea or not.
3. A lot. I'm too lazy to do the research and post the complete list.

can you post the mp3 remix of the Super Mario Bros. 3 overworld 2 on the MP3 page?
    -MegaManX70

Deezer: Which remix is that?

I just wanted to ask something about the April 20th mailbag, how is "Sonic R" a ripoff of the originally-titled "Mario Kart R", isn't "R" a common Japanese abbreviation for "Race" or "Racing"? (And Sonic R plays NOTHING like Mario Kart 64. Not saying Sonic R is the best in the world, but it's definately much different.) I really don't know about defending CTR, though...

Again, very little Mario this time... Well, I can add a bit: I bought Super Mario Advance a while ago, and the voices were not that good, IMHO. A few were alright/bearable, but Peach sounds VERY young (compared to the other games), Birdo doesn't sound anything like Mario Tennis (admittingly different development teams, but you would think they would get something like voices straight...), and Toad... Toad sounds like a woman trying to sound like a boy... being strangled underwater. Toad makes you wish there was an option to turn off the voices. ^_^

And I've been offhandedly looking for that "Secret Page" you keep getting nagged about every time you mention it's existance for a while now, and not found it. At this rate, I doubt I ever will, I'm just probably looking over something simple, though... ;P

Ever notice the e-mails I send to the mailbag end up looking really long compared to some of the others?
    -Kulock

Deezer: Hmm... I'm not sure about the "R" thing. I just played Super Mario Advance at TRU today (May 8th), and I'd have to agree with you about the voices. Good luck with the secret page... I've been contemplating making it even harder to find... bwa haha! >:)

Hey, long time fan of the site here. Keep up the great work.

I was just wondering, for whoever is answering this mailbag, what are some of your favorite bands? I know this isn't Video Game-related, but it's important! Just wondering. Thanks.
    -Daniel

Deezer: In no particular order: Foo Fighters, Godsmack, nine inch nails, Green Day, Soundgarden, Days of the New, Nirvana, 311, Jimi Hendrix, Staind, Blink 182, Linkin Park, Pearl Jam, Deftones, Creed, KoRn, Tool, Sevendust, Puya, Metallica, Eve 6, Tantric, Limp Bizkit, Rage Against the Machine, A Perfect Circle, Filter, Black Sabbath, The Union Underground, Kittie, 3 Doors Down, Oblivion Dust, Papa Roach, Led Zeppelin, Disturbed.

Some honorable mentions: Stone Temple Pilots, Third Eye Blind, Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band, Kid Rock, Smashing Pumpkins, Monster Magnet, Alice In Chains, Marilyn Manson, and Primus, but they all are part of the "we've released a bunch of CDs, but Deezer likes only one of them" phenomenon.

Just a comment, you guys. I have to say that WTMK is awesome. My favorite Mario music playing all the time! In my opinion, you guys have the best Mario site on the web, let's hope TMK lasts a long time.
    -nhood

Deezer: I love you.
