Princess Toadstool

We find Princess Toadstool in the same type of room as before, but this time the background is lower, and the shadows light up. The princess has a new design and a new thank-you message.

Ending

In the ending sequence, all the scenes were changed slightly, and the "World #" font was changed. All of the map insets were updated for accuracy and to reflect (most of) the map screen changes. In SMA4, the ending scenes all show a short gameplay sequence before the action freezes into what we see below.

World 8's title was changed from "Castle of Koopa" to "Bowser's Castle."
